It is melt-in-your-mouth good! My family and friends just raved about it. The funny thing is that I don't think I've ever made a pound cake before. My son-in-law the chef was too stuffed after Christmas dinner to eat any, so he took some home (both my daughters and their husbands flatter me by leaving after each meal with a to-go crate – doesn’t leave us many leftovers, but it does make me happy) anyway . . . he called back around 10pm to say he passed by the cake and decided to “take a bite” and that was it – he ate the whole slice. Said he had to call and tell me it was the best he’d ever tasted!!!!! All true! You can put it in stone!" I love my reader's responses to my recipes!
